Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Cohort
START YOUR CAREER IN Emergency medical services WITHOUT GOING INTO DEBT.
Get trained to become a certified EMT before the year ends!
Join the professionals in emergency medical services through the EMT program. This seven month hands-on training prepares you to respond to emergencies, provide basic life support, and earn your National Registry EMT certification.
Participants complete professional and soft-skills training with The Collective Blueprint prior to beginning EMT classes at the University of Memphis.
From March 16 through April 3, participants are expected to be onsite with The Collective Blueprint Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All training during this period takes place during daytime hours.
Once EMT programming begins, participants will continue to engage with The Collective Blueprint through monthly daytime workshops and coaching sessions, while EMT classes at the University of Memphis are held two evenings per week.
This structure allows participants to balance daytime professional development with evening EMT coursework.

Our healthcare pathways program is completely free for all participants who are admitted into the program.

A valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.

The program takes about seven months. Upon program completion, you'll receive coaching and post-program employment support for up to six months .
